The fresh roots are then washed, peeled, grated and blended into a paste like consistency where it is the filtered, dried and sifted to be the flour in this package. AKN Organics Cassava Flour is all natural with no additives or chemicals used through the production process. It can be replace wheat flour on a 1:1 basis with in most recipes. Made in East Africa from local and imported ingredients.
