This Organic Brown Medium Grain Rice is grown locally in the Riverina area of NSW. Medium grain brown rice has a shorter, wider kernel when compared to long grain rice. The cooked grains are more moist and tender and have a greater tendency to cling together than long grain. Brown rice does take longer to cook than white rice, but has a delicious nutty flavour and aroma that is worth the wait! No GMO. No chemicals or pesticides. Sustainably grown.

Organic wild rice is called rice and cooks much like rice, but is not actually rice at all! It is actually a species of grass that has a strong and unique yet delicious flavour. Wild rice's chewy texture and pleasing appearance makes it a great addition to rice pilafs or simply cooked in combination with plain brown or white rice.

When simmering a deliciously nutritious lamb broth, the nutrient dense, fatty goodness naturally rises to the surface. It’s liquid (or, more gloopy) gold! We skim the lamb broth fat is from our lamb broth – and render it to produce a delicious, healthy cooking fat. It’s jam packed with nutrients just like the actual broth, and has a broth flavour. It’s solid at room temperature and has a high smoke point so a great to use for frying, but with a very different flavour to tallow. This is arguably the most nutrient dense component of broth. The fat will last up to a month when stored at room temperature, but this can be extended to six months when stored in the fridge. It is in solid state when cold, and liquid form once heated.
