Serves 2. Hand Filleted. Snap Frozen. Southern Ocean Deep Sea Flathead is caught by Deep sea trawl. So named for their (very) flatheads, are wild caught, mainly by trawl on the continental shelf off Port Lincoln South Australia. Southern Ocean Deep Sea flat head are endemic to Australia. Meaning if you see a deep sea flat head that is not product of Australia, it?s probably not flathead. Flathead has a low oil content which results in fine, flaked flesh.The fish portions are frozen when they leave lettuce, but it is very likely that they will defrost in transit. We recommend ordering more than one pack to try and help keep them frozen. We expect though that is more than likely you will need to put them in the fridge once the delivery is made.
