Dandelion & Burdock Coffee is a unique coffee substitute made from roasted dandelion and burdock roots. The medicinal properties of burdock root are similar to those of dandelion root. Dandelion and burdock is a traditional combination in Britain. Small pieces of root are lightly roasted to caramelise their sap. Naturally caffeine free, they make a refreshing drink with a distinctive burdock flavour. It can be taken any time of the day, or after a main meal or as a nightcap. Both plants have similar properties and reinforce each other’s action.
